Polythene is the most environmentally friendly packaging material - it is produced efficiently in terms of energy consumed and recyclability of production waste.

Polythene is lightweight and requires minimal storage space. The ratio of packaging to product is low - on average polythene accounts for 1% of the product it protects.

Polythene films are continuously improved resulting in weight and film thickness reduction year on year. Did you know the average carrier bag is now ⅓ the thickness they were in 1990?

New additives can accelerate degradation and biodegradation decreasing the time it takes for polymer to break down by approximately 70%-75%.
